About The Position

The Embedded Controls Verification Engineer develops and maintains real-time electrification plant models and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments for embedded control systems. The role uses MATLAB/Simulink, dSPACE, and OPAL-RT to support requirements-based verification and validation, software integration, functional testing, and regression testing. The engineer creates automated test scripts and regression frameworks using Python or similar tools; executes automated and manual testing; analyzes results, documents defects, and supports root-cause investigations. The role also supports CAN/J1939 communications, diagnostics, fault injection, and ECU integration testing, while maintaining test traceability and verification records. Collaboration with software, controls, and systems engineering teams and continuous improvement of HIL processes and test automation are key aspects of the position. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible and qualified individuals. Cintal is committed to equal employment opportunity and building a diverse, inclusive, and global team.
