About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Developer to join our team. This role involves the architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern C++ and embedded Linux environments.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in architecture, design, prototyping, software development, code review, and unit testing for embedded devices.
• High proficiency with modern C, C++, C++11/C++14, or C++17.
• Experience and strong knowledge of Linux, BSP, and Linux subsystems.
• Experience with memory and performance profiling tools.
• Excellent understanding of the C++ build process.
• Excellent knowledge of multithreading and algorithms.
• Solid foundational knowledge of inter-process communications (IPC) and remote procedure calls (RPC).
• Proficiency with multiple communications paradigms including client-server, peer-to-peer, and publish/subscribe.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with IP-based communications and protocols such as HTTP, TLS, REST, WebSockets, JSON, XML, Protobufs, Flatbuffers, RTP, RTSP, and HLS.
• Experience working with diverse engineering teams.
