About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Emanations Specialist III to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: Provides domestic and overseas support through countermeasure testing, assessment, and solution development. The role involves analyzing acoustic and RF vulnerabilities, recommending appropriate mitigations, and documenting findings in detailed reports following overseas travel. The specialist develops new countermeasure solutions and testing methodologies in collaboration with the Intelligence Community (IC) and research partners, and participates in U.S. Government interagency working groups and occasionally engages with national research labs and industry partners. Responsibilities include preparing and executing test plans aligned with branch priorities, maintaining and safely operating lab test equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and tracking equipment usage. The Emanations Specialist is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support technical and operational requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent school/work experience.
  • Strong understanding of acoustic properties, measurement and analysis methodologies, and safe operation procedures for test equipment.
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community standards and directives, relevant industry standards, and regulations governing the use of classified materials.
  • Proficiency in using electronic test equipment, including multimeters, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, audio and acoustic analyzers.
  • Knowledge of safety standards for test and lab environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft O365.
  • Ability to interact effectively with individuals or groups outside their organization or agency.
  • Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork skills, self-motivation, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and capacity to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, manual labor, using ladders, and working on construction sites.
