About The Position

The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supercharging dbrand's email marketing machine. This role involves developing and maintaining email campaigns, coordinating with the creative team for assets, and finding methods to improve open and click-through rates, with a singular focus on evolving the cult-like customer base. The ideal candidate is an analytical and motivated individual with razor-sharp judgment and a knack for critical thinking, capable of making "dbrand marketing" and "your company's name marketing" identical search queries. The role operates within an environment of excellence, demanding a revolutionary degree of commitment, engagement, and accessibility from customers. The specialist will deploy and maintain email marketing campaigns, apply and monitor A/B testing across all channels, and stay updated on innovative strategies for customer acquisition and retention. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency with Email Marketing Platforms (such as Klayvio or similar), including managing customer lists, segmenting, building workflows, and building, testing and reporting email campaigns
  • At least 2 proven years of experience in a D2C Marketing Communications role marketing to substantial audiences
  • Demonstrable experience in executing, managing, and leading the creative, and ongoing optimization of customer acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Absolute mastery of analytics tools, including GA and Email Marketing Platform reporting
  • An impeccable communication style - your grasp on the English language is flawless
  • Detail-oriented, self-sufficient, resourceful, organized, and proactive

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the retention and conversion strategies on dbrand’s Klaviyo email marketing platform
  • Manage transactional flows including onboarding sequences and cart recovery
  • Execute acquisition campaigns for product and promotion launches
  • Create engagement campaigns to deliver high-value content and experiences
  • A/B test and iterate every aspect of dbrand’s email communication flows and campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative team to identify requirements and development of assets (images, videos, brand elements, and copy)
  • Plan and deploy campaigns for the launch of all new products, designs, and special or limited edition drops
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to develop effective campaigns
  • Evaluate, recommend, and drive implementation of new communication platforms (i.e. SMS, Social Messaging, Chatbots, etc.) to further elevate dbrand’s customer communication experience
  • Regularly report on key business and digital marketing metrics and KPIs
