Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Email Marketing Specialist to plan, execute, and optimize email campaigns that drive engagement, conversions, and customer retention across B2C and B2B segments. The ideal candidate blends compelling storytelling, technical email expertise, and data-driven decision-making to continuously optimize performance.

Requirements

  • 2+ years proven experience in email or lifecycle marketing, ideally within eCommerce environment; experience supporting B2B audiences is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including list management, segmentation, deliverability, and compliance.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Creative teams and external agencies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data driven decisions.
  • Familiarity with SQL concepts to review and validate segmentation logic.
  • Ability to translate business goals into clear technical and creative requirements for both consumer and business-facing communications.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, partnering with marketing leadership and business stakeholders to execute and report on email performance.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest email marketing trends, tools, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Co-develop and execute email marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and target audiences across eCommerce and B2B, including promotional, lifecycle, and transactional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop email content, messaging, and campaign concepts that support broader marketing, sales, and revenue goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our external email agency, partnering closely to oversee email builds, QA, and deployment.
  • Define campaign requirements, timelines, and audience targeting criteria to ensure accurate and timely agency execution.
  • Support audience segmentation strategy and validate targeting logic, ensuring relevance across consumer and business audiences.
  • Manage and maintain ongoing automated journeys, ensuring content, logic, and requirements remain aligned with evolving eCommerce and B2B business needs.
  • Monitor and analyze email campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI; provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous optimization.
  • Support A/B testing strategies, applying insights to improve future campaigns.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, to ensure email communications align with brand voice, messaging standards, and marketing objectives.
  • Ensure all email campaigns comply with applicable legal regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and industry best practices to maintain strong deliverability and engagement.
