About The Position

Email Marketing Automation Specialist The Role Fidelity Charitable is looking for an Email Marketing Automation Specialist to join a dedicated team building sophisticated, high-impact communications for donors, financial advisors, and nonprofit organizations. This is an individual contributor role for someone who thrives in the technical details of email marketing automation and wants their work to directly advance the mission of an organization that supports nonprofits with billions of dollars in donor-recommended grants annually. You will be a hands-on practitioner responsible for building campaign automations, audience segmentation strategies, and personalized customer journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will partner closely with senior team members and business stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into reliable, high-performing email executions that align with organizational strategy and compliance standards. What You Bring Salesforce Marketing Cloud expertise: Hands-on experience across Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Designer. Working knowledge of AMPscript is a plus. Able to execute campaign builds end-to-end with guidance, troubleshoot platform issues, and follow team standards and best practices. Data and segmentation: Ability to work with data models and build segmentation queries within SFMC. Comfortable executing against defined requirements and asking good questions when the technical approach needs clarification. Deliverability and compliance: Working understanding of email deliverability, authentication standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and compliance requirements including CAN-SPAM, CCPA, and GDPR, with the ability to identify and flag issues as they arise. Testing and optimization: Experience using tools such as Litmus and Validity to test and troubleshoot email performance, with the ability to interpret results and surface recommendations. Attention to detail: Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns in flight, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Event marketing execution: Experience building event invitations and event landing pages within event management platforms such as Splash or similar tools, with an understanding of how event communications integrate with broader campaign workflows in SFMC. Communication: Ability to clearly communicate status and questions on active builds, and flag when requirements need clarification before execution begins. Requirements
