About The Position

The Florida Panthers are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Coordinator to join a dynamic marketing team. The Email Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing effective email campaigns to reach, engage, grow and retain our fan base, ultimately driving ticket sales, merchandise purchases, and overall fan satisfaction. This position will help manage the email workload for all of our businesses including Florida Panthers, Amerant Bank Arena, FLA Team Shop, FTL War Memorial & Panthers IceDen. They will also ensure compliance with regulations, conduct testing for effectiveness, and provide insightful reporting for continuous improvement. This outstanding individual will play a key role across the marketing team's digital and email strategy, planning and execution with a strong focus on results. This role will also support our email content calendar and work with the Email Marketing Manager to continue to grow our South Florida brands.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Minimum 1-2 years email marketing experience
  • Proficient with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Eloqua or similar email marketing automation software
  • Proven ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, develop strategy, problem solve and execute day-to-day tactics
  • Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Must have experience creating in-depth email marketing plans while owning and overseeing multiple functional areas
  • High level of interpersonal people skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Strong computer skills in HTML and CSS, plus MS Office: Word processing, spreadsheets, and Canva or Adobe Creative Suite applications

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sports and entertainment marketing strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and build digital marketing campaigns including various e-blasts, newsletters, automated lead-nurturing campaigns, and Territory Member account communications
  • Analyze email data sets and share insights to improve digital campaign sales and other KPIs
  • Assist with the day-to-day management and administration of the club’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance
  • Support the team’s analytical efforts, including pointing out trends and utilizing test methods to help deliver best results (ie. A/B testing, frequency, time of day, audience segmentation, etc.)
  • Maintain and update the email calendar to ensure proper planning and execution.
  • Utilize quality assurance methods to ensure email and digital campaigns are optimized for the best performance on all platforms and devices.
  • Support organizational planning and viral campaign development alongside the overall marketing plan and vision
  • Collaborate closely with various departments in the organization including Sales, Partnerships, PR, Community Relations, Foundation, Operations, and more
  • Work with the marketing team to help build database and utilize automation as a tool in the digital marketing tool kit.
  • Work closely with Florida Panthers, Amerant Bank Arena, FLA Team Shop, FTL War Memorial Auditorium, Baptist Health IcePlex, and Panthers IceDen management teams to implement emails for campaigns, concerts and events
