About The Position

The EM Assembler ensures the safety of team members and customers, assists the prefab team in achieving quality control and on-time completion of prefab projects, and helps maintain cleanliness within the prefab facility. This role works collaboratively with the prefab and construction teams to maximize customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Good command of the English language - verbal and written.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Team player with good customer and people skills.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools proficiently.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead – all for extended periods of time.
  • Be physically active for long periods without getting tired or out of breath.
  • Bend, stretch, twist, or reach out.
  • Use muscles for extended periods without getting tired.
  • Use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Adjust body movements or equipment controls to keep pace with speed changes of moving objects.
  • Ability to lift and/or carry up to 51 pounds unassisted.

Nice To Haves

  • Participate in minimum of 32 hours continuing education related to leadership and track certificates.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of team members and customers by following safety standards, identifying and reporting safety violations, and addressing hazardous conditions.
  • Assist the prefab team to achieve quality control by becoming familiar with prefab requirements, following K2 standards for assemblies, practicing QA/QC standards, and verifying assemblies meet project requirements and match design documents.
  • Assist the prefab team to achieve prefab project on-time completion by reviewing project plans, completing projects to ensure maximum production, learning and practicing correct assembly methods, providing task updates, identifying time and material remaining, being proactive in identifying new assignments, and communicating project delay issues and material needs.
  • Assist with tool and prefab facility cleanliness by ensuring tools are cleaned, maintained, and returned, maintaining a clean work area, inspecting the facility for cleanliness, and inspecting equipment for issues.
  • Maximize team efficiency by clarifying directives, auditing product installations, relaying suggested ideas for improvement, coaching field employees, and participating in continuing education.
  • Work with the Prefab & Construction Team to maximize customer satisfaction by cooperating with team members, communicating regarding conflicts, maintaining friendly relationships with clients and others, and staying current with required documentation and training.
