Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must have very effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to see and hear; write and speak the English language
  • Exceptional customer service skills and professional appearance.
  • Current valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm industry experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Install, program, maintain and repair security alarm wiring and equipment and ensures work is in accordance with relevant codes for SafeStreets and state and local municipalities.
  • Represent SafeStreets professionally in customer homes and businesses, identify customer needs, and support sales activities by educating customers on products and services and presenting available upgrade or additional service options, as applicable.
  • Arrive at each installation opportunity timely, enhance customer security system by using company confirmed company enhancement process, and perform the installation of related security equipment efficiently according to company best practices as outlined in company training and in the Installation Manual.
  • Professionally provide any consultation to customer about additional security needs or concerns.
  • Ensure all paperwork /digital confirmation(s) is completed correctly including customer’s signature(s) and payment (if ) at time of installation opportunity visit.
  • Check in upon arrival at each appointment.
  • Once a successful installation is complete, update Salesforce.
  • Check out upon departure.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and controls including receipt of, usage of, and physical counts.
  • Maintain any and all certifications, licenses, insurance etc. as required.
