Responsibilities include responding to emergent situations, explaining agency services and community programs, and meeting processing standards for various financial assistance programs using computer data systems like METS (MNsure). The position also entails case management, processing eligibility reviews, income reviews, vouchers, and other documentation, as well as researching and solving client problems related to medical transportation, dental services, housing, and past due bills. The role involves composing fraud referrals, appeal summaries, and facilitating integrated services with multi-county departments and outside agencies. Additionally, it requires participating in multi-disciplinary staffing, interpreting diagnostic assessments for eligibility, and assisting peers with policy interpretations. Miscellaneous duties include performing special projects, preparing for program audits, completing peer reviews, providing backup for co-workers, assisting in training staff, acting as a resource for community knowledge, composing correspondence and reports, maintaining positive working relationships, adhering to HIPAA and Data Practices, following County and Department Policies and Procedures, and providing expert testimony in appeals, court hearings, and trials.
