About The Position
The Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist will work directly in the Youth Service Program. The Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist receives and processes all referrals to services, verifies eligibility, and completes insurance authorizations. They will report directly to the Youth Services Program Director.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal communication and sound writing skills
- Ability to relate to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of agency policies and procedures
- Knowledge of OMH and DOH regulations
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications
- Skill in gathering, interpreting, and reporting information
- Ability to organize work effectively and use time efficiently
- Ability to work independently and make good judgment in task completion
- Ability to manage the status of multiple tasks concurrently
- Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets agency insurability guidelines
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or a related field with at least two years of experience in human services working with children, youth and families
- Must clear the State Central Registry Clearance, Staff Exclusion List Clearance and OMH Criminal History Review for criminal convictions
