The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works to build on strengths of families and communities to keep children and vulnerable adults safe, so they thrive. We do this through investigations, services, and referrals. The position provides administrative support to the eligibility unit supervisor, eligibility staff, and other positions within the operations and support administration area. The position interacts routinely with Texas Department of Family and Protective Services staff, SJRC Texas|Belong staff, and the general public. This position requires daily attendance in the office while supporting teleworking staff. This position will be responsible for managing proactively a wide range of administrative duties and processes required to support the team and regional leadership as needed. This person will work multiple priority activities concurrently that require considerable coordination and follow-through to meet requirements.
