About The Position

Reaching All Minds Academy is seeking Elementary Teachers to instruct core academic subjects (math, science, social studies, language arts) to elementary school students. The role involves cooperating in the development of annual objectives for the school, planning an instructional program that incorporates these objectives, and ensuring that instruction, materials, and procedures are appropriate for the subject and student needs. The teacher will assess individual student abilities to devise techniques that accommodate differences in learning rates, styles, and ability levels, monitor individual student achievement continuously, employ a variety of teaching methods, and use professional classroom management techniques to maintain a suitable instructional environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Education or related fields.
Possess a valid North Carolina Professional Educator's license.

Responsibilities

Instruct core academic subjects (math, science, social studies, language arts) to elementary school students.
Cooperate in the development of annual objectives for the school.
Plan an instructional program which incorporates these objectives.
Incorporate learner objectives compatible with the subject, grade level, established curriculum, and student needs.
Assess instructional program to determine its effectiveness.
Maintain an effective program by establishing and maintaining an adequate knowledge of subject areas and child growth and development.
Ensure that the instruction, materials and procedures are appropriate for the subject being taught and for the needs of the students.
Encourage students, parents and others to become actively involved in daily instructional activities.
Assess individual student abilities to devise techniques that will accommodate student differences in rates of learning, styles of learning, and ability levels.
Monitor individual student achievement on a continuous basis.
Employ a variety of teaching methods to meet student needs.
Use professional classroom management techniques to maintain a suitable instructional environment.
