About The Position

Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent JK to Grade 12 International Baccalaureate and Round Square day and boarding school located on two campuses in Victoria, BC, Canada. We are seeking an exceptional educator to join our Junior School team and invite qualified candidates to apply for the following opportunity: Elementary Teacher. This is a temporary, 1.0 FTE position starting in August 2026. GNS educators offer our students an internationally recognized 'gold standard’ of education. As a highly collegial and collaborative team player, you will support the delivery of International Baccalaureate (IB) units that incorporate the BC curriculum. Requirements

  • Valid BC teaching certificate
  • Strong experience in teaching literacy and numeracy at varying grade levels
  • Reflective and student-centred educator
