About The Position
The Syracuse City School District is launching Elevate 3-1-5, an initiative designed to strengthen teaching and learning through personalized instruction, aligned professional development, and purposeful use of data to ensure every student experiences academic growth while attending to the whole child. We are seeking dedicated and mission-driven ELA, Math, Science, Special Education, and English as a New Language teachers who are committed to helping all students thrive through high-quality, student-centered instruction. This is an opportunity to be part of a team working to transform learning experiences in schools designated for elevated support.
Requirements
- Valid NYS teaching certification in your content area or actively pursuing certification
- Demonstrated success using data to adjust instruction
- Strong collaboration skills and commitment to professional learning
Nice To Haves
- Preference for teachers with 2+ years of teaching experience, though early-career educators who demonstrate strong commitment to growth are encouraged to apply
