About The Position
Brightmont Academy is seeking a Part-Time Elementary Teacher to focus on one-to-one instruction for students in grades 1-12. Since 1999, Brightmont Academy has helped students achieve their full potential through personalized instruction. With 25 campuses across 10 states, they create a nurturing, student-centered environment. This role allows teachers to focus on inspiring students without the burden of lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading. The 1:1 teaching model involves tailoring lessons to unique student needs and learning styles, guiding students to mastery with a gradual release approach, and building confidence and academic success. Professional development opportunities are also available.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in your subject area (English, Social Studies, History, Government, Economics, etc.).
- Patience & Empathy: Understanding that every student learns differently and commitment to supporting them.
- A Heart for Teaching: A genuine passion to share your subject with the next generation.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and Learning Management Software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints (AZ, WA, only) and pass a federal background check.

- A teaching certification
- Advanced degree in a specific subject area of expertise.
- Previous one-to-one teaching experience.
