About The Position

The Elementary Teacher delivers high-quality instruction to students in kindergarten through fifth grade at Willie Jeffries School of Excellence. The role includes planning and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive learning environment. The position is full-time and exempt, reports to the Principal, and operates in a professional school environment. It uses standard office equipment and instructional materials, with occasional local travel for school-related functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Knowledge of elementary education best practices.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Valid South Carolina teaching certification.
