This position is for the 2026-2027 School Year. The role of a Teacher involves planning lessons, utilizing various instructional techniques to meet diverse student needs, and implementing district and state guidelines. The teacher will manage time effectively to maximize student instruction, create a positive learning atmosphere, and collaborate with colleagues within professional learning communities. Responsibilities include evaluating student academic performance, communicating progress to parents, identifying and meeting individual student needs with school staff, and participating in professional development, including accommodations for special needs students. The teacher will also work with the principal on professional growth, ensure student safety during drills and emergencies, maintain classroom inventory, supervise students, administer assessments, and play an active role in curriculum development. Additional duties include maintaining records, serving on committees, participating in co-curricular activities, fostering cooperative relationships, adhering to ethical codes and board policies, and integrating technology into instruction. The Principal, or other district-level administrators, will evaluate the performance. Employment terms and salary are based on district schedules.
