About The Position
As a 2nd grade Elementary Teacher at Stratford School, you will have the opportunity to work with our talented and highly motivated students to continue to build upon the knowledge foundation that was laid in the early elementary years and prepare them for the upper elementary school program. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language
- Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend
- Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction
Nice To Haves
- Prior classroom experience in a lower elementary setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and implement curriculum
- Collaborate with other faculty and staff members
- Monitor and assess student progress
- Maintain an ordered and arranged classroom environment
