About The Position

The Elementary Teacher's Aide assists the Elementary Classroom Teachers in preparing materials for use in classroom projects, lessons and assists teachers or others in any urgent situation, including serving as a Substitute Teacher. The Teacher’s Aide will also work with small groups of students.

Requirements

• A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit
• A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
• Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with students in or out of the classroom with the guidance of the Elementary Assistant Principal
• Serve as a Substitute Teacher when there is an emergency
• Be available to assist in any area in an urgent situation
• Assist with testing
• Prepare instructional materials for teaching (cutting, coloring, stapling, collating, pasting, etc.)
