About The Position
This position is for a K-12 Library Teacher at W. Snyder ES for the 2026-2027 school year.
Requirements
- Valid Nevada Teaching License with an endorsement in Library Science or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience working with K-12 students.
- Knowledge of library management systems and digital resources.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Master's degree in Library Science.
- Experience with curriculum development.
- Familiarity with educational technology.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction and guidance to students in library and information literacy skills.
- Manage and maintain the school library collection.
- Promote reading and literacy throughout the school.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
- Oversee library operations and ensure a welcoming environment for students and staff.
