About The Position

The Elementary Teacher K-5 will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and effective learning environment for all students. This role requires adherence to the R.I. Educator Code of Professional Responsibility and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, parents, students, and administrators. The teacher will support a vision that reflects an ALL STUDENTS classroom program and promote Professional Learning Community Goals. Proficiency in utilizing technology in the teaching and learning process, along with knowledge of curriculum, standards, and performance assessment, is essential. Experience in a co-teaching model is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Appropriate Rhode Island Certification (K-5)
• Relevant credentials
• Relevant successful experience
• Ability to work with colleagues, parents, students and administrators
• Ability to know and utilize technology in the teaching and learning process
• Knowledge of curriculum, standards and performance assessment
• Experience in a co-teaching model
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
