About The Position

As a Middle School Language Art Teacher at Stratford School, you will implement a comprehensive curriculum fostering language proficiency, critical thinking, and literacy skills among students in grades six through eight.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in middle school or upper elementary grades
• Knowledge of language arts curriculum standards and instructional strategies
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Frequently walk, stand, sit, squat, stoop, reach, kneel, rise from the floor, twist, listen, read, write, and speak the English language.
• Often carry, lift, use repetitive or fine hand movements, and occasionally push, pull, or bend.
• Regularly hear and use clear vision with or without correction.
