About The Position
River Mill Academy, a public charter school located in Graham, North Carolina is hiring a fourth grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. RMA was founded as one of the original public schools in the state (1998) and has a strong academic history with minimal behavior disruptions. Our elementary classrooms are self contained and "loop", meaning they stay with the same cohort of students for two consecutive school years.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for hire for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Must be able to teach in a self-contained and looping classroom.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a public charter school setting.
- Familiarity with North Carolina's state health and retirement system.
- Understanding of master's pay policies.
