About The Position
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained 1st and 2nd grade classroom serving students with Autism Spectrum Disorder. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, create engaging learning experiences, and help students develop academically, socially, and behaviorally in a structured, supportive environment.
Requirements
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with an LBS1 endorsement
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a closely related discipline
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong classroom management skills
- Strong communication skills

Responsibilities
- Teach a self-contained classroom serving 1st and 2nd grade students.
- Deliver individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP goals.
- Foster communication, independence, and positive behavioral growth.
- Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
- Monitor student progress and maintain required educational documentation.
- Create a safe, engaging classroom where students are encouraged to succeed.
