About The Position
Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to provide specialized instruction and behavioral support in elementary and developmental classroom settings for the 2026–2027 school year in Burbank, IL. This role involves providing specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs, developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), collaborating with staff and families, and maintaining accurate student records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education or related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support to students with diverse learning needs in elementary and specialized developmental classroom settings.
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support academic, social, and functional growth.
- Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families to promote student success and inclusion.
- Maintain accurate student records, progress monitoring data, and compliance documentation in accordance with educational requirements.
