About The Position

KIPP Jacksonville Public Schools is seeking a K-4 Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is available at KIPP Impact Academy. The Spanish teacher will instruct students across multiple grade levels and/or sections, working closely with the electives department. Responsibilities include creating a positive classroom environment, implementing curriculum, assessing students, collaborating with the team, building relationships with families, and other duties as assigned by the school leader. The specials schedule may vary by school, and teachers may travel to classrooms or have students transition to their classroom. Class sizes are typically around 26 students, with teachers seeing a class about twice per week in a given rotation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Relevant Florida Teaching Certification or Eligibility for Certification in Spanish K-12
• At least one complete year of teaching Spanish with a proven track record of high achievement in the classroom
• Possesses a deep commitment to both racial and educational equity for all children
• Passing a background check, as required by law

• Two or more years of elementary teaching experience with a proven track record of high achievement in the classroom
