About The Position

Zeta is seeking passionate Elementary School Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year. Zeta is dedicated to providing a world-class education that combines high academic achievement with social-emotional development. The organization operates multiple elementary and middle schools in New York City and is expanding to include a high school in the 2026-27 school year. This role involves creating an engaging learning environment, fostering a love for learning, and driving student success towards ambitious academic goals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
1-2+ years of lead K-12 classroom teaching experience
Proven record of propelling extraordinary student growth
Work authorization is required (candidate must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.).

Internalize and deeply master Zeta’s academic and social-emotional curriculum, developing the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional instruction each day.
Champion Zeta’s ambitious academic goals —including ensuring that 90%+ of students achieve on or above grade level across ELA and Math —and work relentlessly to help every student reach those outcomes.
Utilize data, student work, and research-based resources to drive student achievement and continuously refine your teaching practice.
Develop strong, authentic relationships with students and families to support each child’s academic growth and personal development.
Collaborate closely with colleagues and engage in weekly professional learning, embracing coaching and feedback as you grow into a highly effective educator.
