Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
- Texas State Teacher Certification (required)
- ACSI Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong understanding of elementary education and child development
- Ability to create a structured yet nurturing classroom environment
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with students and parents
- A heart for ministry and a passion for investing in children’s lives
- Flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving in the classroom
Responsibilities
- Teach core academic subjects using engaging, age-appropriate instructional strategies
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that fosters respect, curiosity, and growth
- Integrate biblical principles into daily instruction, supporting students’ spiritual development
- Develop and execute lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and the mission of the school
- Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and individual student needs
- Monitor student progress through assignments, assessments, and observations
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and any concerns
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
- Collaborate with colleagues to support a unified, Christ-centered school culture
- Model Christian values through daily interactions, prayer, and spiritual leadership
