About The Position
A supportive elementary school community is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join its team in a full-time, school-based role. This opportunity is ideal for an SLP who is enthusiastic about working with younger students and values collaboration within a dynamic educational environment. In this position, you will help students strengthen critical speech and language skills that contribute to academic success, positive peer interactions, and growing self-assurance. You’ll partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to implement strategies that promote meaningful communication growth and help each student reach their individual potential.
Requirements
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Track progress and adjust interventions to ensure continued growth.
- Design and implement therapy plans aligned with student needs and goals.
- Deliver individualized speech and language services in an elementary school setting.
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
