About The Position
Clinton Prairie Elementary School is seeking an Elementary School Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves supporting students' social-emotional needs and fostering a positive learning environment.
Requirements
- Valid Indiana School Counselor license/certification appropriate for the elementary level
- Strong understanding of child development and the social-emotional needs of elementary students
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting student wellness and success
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with professionalism
- Highly motivated with the ability to relate well with children
- Willing to be flexible with daily schedule
