About The Position

San Diego Unified School District is recruiting a pre-qualified Elementary School Assistant for a vacancy at Foster Elementary in Area D, located at 6550 51st St, San Diego, CA 92120. The role relieves the workload of a site administrator and staff by performing delegated administrative duties, completing assigned projects, and coordinating school activities as assigned.

The position is scheduled for 10 months per year and 40 hours per week. It is paid on the OTBS Salary Schedule, Grade 037. Employees working more than 20 hours per week qualify for District-paid health and wellness benefits for themselves and eligible dependents. This promotional/open recruitment will establish an eligibility list active for three months or until the vacancy is filled. Only candidates who have been pre-qualified for Elementary School Assistant may apply.

Requirements

• Must be pre-qualified for Elementary School Assistant through the District's pre-qualification process.

• Provide complete employment history and required Human Resources or Personnel Office contact information for previous educational employers, as applicable.
• Provide contact information for three references, preferably current or previous supervisors.
