About The Position

Founded in 1971, Colorado Springs Christian Schools (CSCS) is one of Colorado’s leading Christian educational schools for grades K-12. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and consult with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to provide appropriate instructional support
  • Develop and implement appropriate written academic, IEP and accommodation plans
  • Assist campus principal with new student approval process if Academic Learning Center services may be requested
  • Coordinate and communicate approved plans with faculty
  • Review Academic Learning Center student grades weekly to ensure approved plans are effective; submit requested updates to all plans as needed for approval
  • Research, develop, and implement modified learning techniques that are academically appropriate and consistent with the educational philosophy of CSCS
  • Maintain accurate records of student objectives and progress
  • Provide reports as directed and requested timely
  • Commits and fully supports the missional and organizational standards including our Core Values, Mission Statement and Doctrinal Statement
  • Demonstrates a spiritual maturity in attitude, actions, and speech; illustrates a consistent walk with Jesus Christ and is sensitive to the spiritual needs of students and parents
  • Effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents on student progress
  • Prepare appropriately for each student’s classroom time
  • Plan and / or participate in parent meetings and conferences as needed
  • Participate in departmental and staff meetings and professional development opportunities as appropriate
  • Assist with the selection of instructional materials and supplementary supplies
  • Assist with additional campus assignments to include lunch and / or recess duty
