Elementary Pickleball Program Coach
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs to children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person. Lesson plans and equipment are provided, and the goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players. Regular coaching opportunities pay $18–$24 per hour and are generally scheduled Monday through Friday, around 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, with back-to-back sessions available. Saturday tennis clinics also pay $18–$24 per hour and may be scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with back-to-back sessions available. These opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. Coaches must attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with each session lasting 2–3 hours. Applicants must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a two-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with 2–3 hours per session.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
