Elementary Physical Education Teacher
About The Position
Eastpointe Community Schools is seeking a certified Elementary Specials Teacher for Physical Education at Bellview Elementary School for the 2026-27 school year. The district is focused on transforming lives through a partnership with Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and University of Virginia's Partners for Leaders in Education (UVA-PLE) to achieve rapid district turnaround. This involves increasing educational expectations, developing a culture of support, and nurturing students' academic, behavioral, and interpersonal needs. The role requires a teacher who can develop a school culture of pride and high achievement, differentiate and scaffold learning, and inspire students to be passionate and proactive about physical education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with Content Area Major, or beyond
- State of Michigan Teaching Certification in Physical Education/Health (MC)
- Strong Organizational and Communication Skills
- Successful Classroom teaching experience
