About The Position

The Elementary Paraeducator will work 6 hours per day, which is 0.75 FTE (Full-Time Equivalent). This is a permanent, part-time position with the San Juan Unified School District, located at Arlington Heights Elementary School. The role involves supporting instructional activities within an elementary school setting.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with groups of children.
• Must pre-qualify by attaching one documentation [A, B, C, or D item]:
• [A] Passing score from SJUSD's Proficiency Exam (testing date must be April 2005 to current).
• [B] Official passing score from the California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST).
• [C] OFFICIAL transcripts demonstrating the completion of two years of college (48 semester/60 quarter units).
• [D] Proof of an A.A. degree (or higher).
• If your degree/transcripts are from a foreign college or university, you must have coursework evaluated for its equivalency to a degree/transcripts received from an accredited United States college or university.
• Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.

Responsibilities
