About The Position

Sato Elementary is seeking a positive, collaborative, and student-centered Music Teacher to join our specialist team. As a large elementary school serving students in grades K–5, we are looking for an educator with strong classroom management skills, high energy, and the flexibility needed to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work in close partnership with our other music teacher to co-plan, design, and deliver an engaging, inclusive, and high-quality music program. You will foster a welcoming classroom community where all students can explore their creativity, build musical skills, and develop a lifelong love for music.

Responsibilities

  • Instructs and encourages all students to develop lifelong habits of musical literacy including singing, performing, playing, and appreciating.
  • Plans and implements an instructional program that fosters learning and growth.
  • Creates a supportive learning environment that enables acquisition of skills and knowledge.
  • Guides students toward reaching their academic, social, intellectual and physical potential.
