About The Position

Study Smart is hiring a part-time Elementary Math Tutor in Capitol Heights, Maryland, to provide math tutoring to students in grades 3–5. The tutor will support small and large groups, have access to information about class assignments, adapt to new materials and teaching strategies, communicate consistently with Study Smart staff, and partner with the Education team to provide comprehensive learning strategies. Scheduled days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, with hours listed as 7:00 AM–9:00 PM EST. Applicants must hold a completed four-year degree and complete and pass a background check, which may include fingerprinting depending on location. Teaching or tutoring experience is strongly desired. The position pays $40 per hour for tutoring and $22 per hour for onboarding, training, preparation, and support.
