Elementary Math Instructor
About The Position
Join Our AoPS Academy as a Math Instructor! Are you passionate about math? Do you love inspiring young minds in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting? We have the perfect opportunity for you! Our team is currently seeking candidates to teach our Math Level 1 to Math Level 4 classes. The Part-Time Instructor will teach engaging curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students in small classes, actively involve students in each class or student-led learning, expertly manage up to 16 students, provide feedback on tests, connect with students and families, and encourage a love for learning and critical thinking in math.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Strong content knowledge in math.
- Experience teaching or tutoring students.
- Candidates must be located in Morrisville, NC or the greater area and must be able to commute to our campus.
- In order to be considered for this position you must be legally authorized to work in the US.
- We are unable to offer sponsorship, including STEM-OPT and H-1B.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related or educational field is strongly preferred.
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
- A formal teaching credential is not required for this position.
