About The Position

The Elementary Math Coordinator is an administrative/coordinator role responsible for overseeing elementary math education within the district. This position involves curriculum development, instructional support, and ensuring competency in math subjects for elementary students. The coordinator will also mentor and model for instructional staff, manage district functions related to math, and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Valid Texas Teaching certificate with required endorsements
• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subjects area assigned
• At least three (3) years elementary teaching experience in the field
• Knowledge and highly qualified in the field of math
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Proficient in use of technology
• Copy of College/University transcript(s) with applicable degree posted
• Copy of Texas teaching certificate with required endorsement(s)
• Copy of Texas Administrator Certificate, if applicable
• Copy of current driver's license
• Current resume

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree preferred
• five (5) years experience, preferred.
