Elementary/ELA Teacher Needed - Urgent Hire
About The Position
Kreyco is seeking an Elementary School/ELA teacher for an urgent, on-site teaching opportunity during the 2026–2027 school year. Kreyco is a nationwide preK–12 education organization that partners schools with teachers and provides a comprehensive curriculum, coaching, mentorship, and professional development at no cost. Teachers may have varied professional backgrounds and may join with or without certification; Kreyco assists teachers in obtaining certification while they teach. The role is in person, with daytime teaching hours Monday through Friday and no night or weekend classes. Weekly payment ranges from $400 to $1,100 depending on the teaching project, and the payment structure includes holidays and school breaks. This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- Reside in the United States and within commuting distance of the school.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to commute to the school.
- Complete a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Teaching certification is welcomed but not required; Kreyco assists teachers in obtaining certification while they teach.
Responsibilities
- Teach elementary school/ELA students in person.
- Support student learning, growth, and development.
- Complete the assigned teaching project during daytime hours Monday through Friday.
