About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE position for teaching Kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade at Westview Elementary School, effective at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year. The application deadline is June 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The teacher will be responsible for teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, fulfilling responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal, and maintaining good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.

Requirements

• Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach elementary education.
• Strong general academic background.
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
