About The Position

This is a 1.0 FTE (LTS) position for a Kindergarten teacher at Highland Elementary School. The anticipated dates of employment are from the beginning of the 2026-27 school year until October 12, 2026. The teacher will be responsible for teaching the curriculum of Independent School District 196, carrying out responsibilities as defined by the master contract and the principal, and maintaining good communication and cooperation with staff and parents.

Requirements

• Licensed by the state of Minnesota to teach elementary education Kindergarten
• Strong general academic background.
• Ability to relate positively to students, staff, and community.

• Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.
