About The Position

The K-5 Teacher will plan, organize, and present instruction and instructional environments that help students learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their cognitive, physical, and social/emotional development in the 21st century. This role requires the ability to differentiate instruction, manage instructional time and student behavior, and utilize various technology and classroom tools. The teacher will also collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and the community to enhance student learning and monitor student performance.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an approved education program in subject area
NC Teaching License or have qualifications to obtain a NC Teaching License
Strong background in North Carolina Standard Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards

Nice To Haves

Current North Carolina Professional Educators license for his/her area of assignment
Eligible to hold a North Carolina Professional Educators license in Elementary Education (K-6)
