Elementary Ballroom Dance Teacher
About The Position
American Heritage School is seeking a part-time elementary ballroom teacher to provide instruction in ballroom dance within a faith-centered educational environment. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching dance and working with elementary-aged students and will be able to create a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment. The elementary ballroom teacher will provide ballroom dance instruction to elementary students as part of the school's educational program. The position requires preparation and instruction appropriate to the developmental levels of elementary students, as well as the ability to establish a classroom environment that encourages participation, confidence, discipline, and respect.

Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering ballroom dance instruction appropriate for elementary students
- Teaching foundational ballroom skills and techniques
- Maintaining an organized and engaging classroom environment
- Monitoring student participation and progress
- Providing appropriate feedback and encouragement
- Maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment
- Completing other instructional responsibilities associated with the position
- Communicating professionally and appropriately with students, parents, faculty, and administration as needed
- Maintaining accurate attendance and other required records
- Preparing for classes in advance
- Communicating relevant concerns or needs
- Completing assigned responsibilities in a timely and organized manner
