About The Position

Come join us at StarChild Academy as an Elementary Assistant Teacher! StarChild Academy Elementary in Winter Garden is seeking a caring, dependable, and collaborative Assistant Teacher to support the classroom learning environment in grades K-5. The Assistant Teacher works closely with the Lead Teacher to provide high-quality instruction, individualized support, and a safe, nurturing atmosphere that fosters academic and social- emotional growth. Requirements

Associates or Bachelors degree in Education or related field
Experience working with children in an education setting (school or childcare center)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patience, a nurturing attitude, and a sincere interest in the well-being and development of young learners are essential to this position.
Commitment to professional growth and collaboration.
This position requires Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida law. Candidates may be required to complete screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
