Electrophysiology Specialist (RCIS or RCES)
About The Position
Sentara RMH Medical Center is hiring an Electrophysiology Specialist for the EP Lab. This is a Full Time, Day shift in Harrisonburg, VA! Three 12-hour shifts. This roll will be at the new opening in November 2026 but will train in the main hospital lab. The Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist assists the physician during diagnostic and therapeutic electrophysiology procedures and device implants. Provides patient care to all electrophysiology patients, including acquisition and reduction of all pertinent information related to their procedure. Also provides didactic and clinical training. The Sentara RMH Heart and Vascular team is comprised of cardiologists, electrophysiologist, vascular surgeons, cardiothoracic surgeons, and interventional cardiologists who’ve received their education and training at some of the finest medical schools in the nation. They are committed to providing high quality heart and vascular services to our community.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- BLS required
- ACLS within 90 days of hire
- Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, Registered Cardio Invasive Specialist or registry eligible required. (RCIS or RCES)
- Invasive procedure experience
Nice To Haves
- Trade School Graduate or Bachelor Degree preferred
- 1 year of experience preferred
- EP lab experience preferred
- Implanted Device Experience Preferred
