Electrophysiology - Full-Time NP/PA
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Electrophysiology team in a primarily procedure-based role within the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Working collaboratively with electrophysiology physicians and with a high degree of autonomy, this APP will provide comprehensive care for patients undergoing atrial fibrillation ablations and other electrophysiology procedures, including direct current cardioversions and implantable loop recorder insertions. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current or eligible licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the applicable state.
- Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of three years of cardiology or electrophysiology experience preferred.
- The ideal candidate is an experienced APP who enjoys procedural medicine, values autonomy, thrives in a collaborative team environment, and is passionate about delivering outstanding care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
Responsibilities
- Manage pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing atrial fibrillation ablations.
- Perform direct current cardioversions.
- Perform implantable loop recorder insertions.
- Conduct patient assessments, education, and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with electrophysiologists and Ambulatory Surgery Center staff to support exceptional patient outcomes.
- Practice with a high degree of autonomy while maintaining close physician collaboration.
- Support efficient procedural workflows, patient access, and continued program growth.
