About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Physician Assistant for a Locum Tenens position at an Acute Care Hospital/Outpatient Clinic in Flagstaff, AZ. This role involves clinical coverage only, from August 17, 2026, to January 29, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour lunch break. Responsibilities include evaluating adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, performing post-procedure and follow-up visits, conducting device checks, managing same-day appointments, and supporting the Electrophysiology physician. Patient volume in the inpatient setting is variable, while the outpatient clinic sees approximately 14 patients per day. Admissions and rounding are included in the duties. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center with 268 beds in the department and utilizes the Cerner EMR system. Specialty backup from an Electrophysiology Physician is available.

Requirements

• Active Arizona PA License
• PA Board Certification Required
• DEA Required
• Minimum 1 year of Electrophysiology experience
• Strong Electrophysiology experience
• Cerner proficiency preferred
• Hospital Privileges Required
