About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Electrophysiologist • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Chambersburg, PA • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM COVERAGE DATES • Ongoing coverage beginning May 11, 2026 • Up to 40 hours per week once per month • Additional coverage as needed for vacation PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics • Patient Volume/Census: 16 outpatient per day; 10–15 inpatient • Admissions: Yes • Rounding: Included • Phone Consults: Yes • Case Mix: Electrophysiology FACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: 270 • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard electrophysiology equipment • Specialty Backup Available: Yes • Support Staff Available: Outpatient clinical team and inpatient APP • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental and vacation coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Temporary Privileges Available: Yes, for clean files and urgent needs • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 90 days COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered per client policy

Requirements

Licenses: Active Pennsylvania license or willingness to obtain
Board: Board Certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology
DEA: Active DEA required with Pennsylvania address
Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Experience: Prior electrophysiology experience required
Pacemaker Implant
ICD implant (traditional and subcutaneous)
Loop recorder implant and explant
Ablations including AVN, SVT, and AFLUTTER

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred

Responsibilities

Provide electrophysiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Perform and manage electrophysiology procedures and interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Evaluate and manage patient care across the continuum
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
